Five minutes a day gives you a tool for life

Try this sample with your child and see for yourself how the HappyMath® method works.

First, read the introductory story to your child while he or she is looking at the sample card. (This story is an excerpt from the Instruction Manual.)

Then, click on the card and play the abbreviated sound clip.

Repeat the rhyme with your child... and don't be afraid to get up and "groove" to the rhythm!

STORY: 4 x 8 "put on your shoe"
Have you ever gone swimming in a pond or lake and put your feet down into a squishy, muddy bottom? Well, these four eight-armed octopi have found such a place at the bottom of the ocean. YUCK!

Turn up your speakers and ClICK on the card to play the audio clip

Here’s the HappyMath® Step-by-step process for success

  1. Introduce the multiplication rhyme with a STORY.
  2. Repeat the rhyme while looking at the associated picture on a color-coded card.
  3. Listen to rhymes and rhythms on the CD or audio tape. The child will move and groove and repeat this step often. (*Each lesson includes no more than three rhymes.)
  4. A picture clue game is played for review, anytime anywhere.
  5. A matching game follows. The game will increase speed-of-recall (while simultaneously eliminating the crutch of the rhyme).
  6. The final step provides ample written practice of the facts using the special wipe off pen. Watch your child speedily write down the answers on color- coded practice cards. Facts are presented forwards and backwards (commutative property); all mixed up; laterally; and finally with the multiplier missing. (This step bridges to division.)
