Gail coaches some students

Gail Bernard, New York State certified teacher and developer of the HappyMath Multiplication Kit, believes that "all children can learn if we find a way to teach them." With over thirty years teaching experience she has consistently proven this to be TRUE.

"Learning should be a joy," she says from her home-based tutoring studio, appropriately named Learning with Joy... "and when we learn in our own style, at our own pace, success is always the result."

Gail was urged by several teachers in her locale of the Hudson River Valley in New York State to share the math rhymes her students were using to memorize the multiplication facts. These teachers all mentioned a transformation they had observed with Bernard's students. They reported that her tutees (who previously had performed poorly in math) suddenly had become stars in their class...and not only were they outperforming most of their peers they were teaching their classmates these cool multiplication rhymes. These rhymes gave birth to what has since become known as HappyMath.
